Cy Young, as he is known to most of us, was born in 1867. He was referred to as the Grand Old Man of Baseball. He had 511 victories. At the time, his 500 victorious games gave him the honor of being the first to achieve that. His honors in Baseball go on and on. In 1904 he pitched a perfect game. He was Raised in Mystic Tie Lodge #194 in Uhrichsville, OH, on Feb 29, 1904. He was a Member of Royal Arch Masons, and a few years later joined the Scottish Rite and the Shrine. He was active in Masonry all his life. He died Nov 4, 1955.
